Seventh-Ranked Bombers Compete at UNC-Pembroke

Robert Stubbs won his second straight tournament title
Pembroke, N.C. -- The seventh-ranked Bombers competed at the UNC-Pembroke Classic, where five Ithaca wrestlers were placewinners, including Robert Stubbs (MacArthur/Levittown), ranked eighth nationally, who won the individual title at 184 pounds. Junior Nick Calandrino (Emerson/Emerson, N.J.) placed third at 197 pounds; senior Matthias Keib (G. Ray Bodley/Fulton), ranked fifth nationally at 174 pounds placed sixth; Scott D’Annunzio (Great Valley/Malvern, Pa.) placed sixth at 141 pounds; and junior Josh Herzig (Lowville Academy/Lowville) placed sixth at 149 pounds.
